Amazing Gracie Benefit - Coon Rapids, MN
Our little amazing Gracie was born in November of 2010 with Down syndrome and heart complications. At age 6 months, Gracie will fly to Boston to undergo her third major heart surgery, which will hopefully be her last. Unfortunately, many of the families travel, lodging, and food expenses will be paid out of their pocket. The Amazing Gracie Benefit was held to help offset some of those costs and Froggy Hops is proud to have donated the use of an Inflatable Jumper for this cause. We know that at any age, it was vital for little Gracie to have Mom, Dad, and her big sister by her side! We are all praying for our little Amazing Gracie!
Victor’s Victory Carnival - Blaine, MN
Victor, a Blaine High School student, suffered a traumatic brain injury during the summer of 2009. While riding his bike, and by no fault of his own, an unlicensed and uninsured driver struck Victor with her car. In addition to the brain injury, Victor suffered broken legs, a collapsed lung, and remained in a coma for 14 days. It is a miracle that Victor is alive with his family and friends today! But unfortunately, the extensive medical bills, even after insurance, have caused the family great stress. Froggy Hops is proud to have donated the use of an Inflatable Jumper to Victor’s Victory Carnival, a fundraiser to help the family with the enormous debt they face. Our thoughts and prayers are with Victor as he continues to recover.
Haag Family Benefit - St. Francis, MN
Derek, nine-month pregnant Carrie, and daughter Emily, faced the tragic loss of their St. Francis home during an electrical fire in the spring of 2010. Although they remain incredibly grateful that their family is safe, they are burdened with the loss of every belonging and memory that was in their home. Even with the insurance on the home, there have been many residual costs leaving the family in a huge financial burden. To help off-set the cost of rebuilding, Froggy Hops is proud to have donated the use of an Inflatable Bounce House to the Haag Family Benefit! We wish the family the best as they make new memories in their new home!
Scoops for Troops - Eagan, MN
After each lost a loved one to war, three women, Gwen Olsen, Sandy Masterson, and Dawn Meyers, looked for something positive they could do in honor of the soldiers. The women, along with a local ice cream shop, initiated the first Scoops for Troops, a fun day filled with races, ice cream, and events for kids to honor the fallen soldiers and to help raise money. All profits have been donated to the Tribute to the Troops Fallen Heroes Children’s Education Fund. This education fund is used to provide funding for the education accounts setup in the names of the children of Minnesota’s fallen soldiers. Froggy Hops is proud to have donated the use of an Inflatable Bouncer to the Scoops for Troops’ fundraising activities. While we cannot heal their wounds or take away their pain, we can show them that we care and are willing to do our part to honor their parent’s sacrifice.
